Alex Baranowski: Born 1964 in a small farming community in South Western Ontario (Rodney). Was raised with the Russian Orthodox Faith, and envision GOD as an Iron fisted ruler that wasn't interested in me.
Went to church on special occasions, but would not classify myself as a firm believer. Met my wife Kathy in 1986 and after we got married and had kids (Brad and Ryan) we decided to look at church again. We found Grace Community Church and look at GOD in a totally different light. Working for an International Automotive parts supplier in the Vaughan area, north of Toronto. Interests include family, sports, and mechanics.
Robert Wood: Raised in a Christian home and made a decision to follow Christ as a teenager. Attributed this to core friendships through youth group and investment (and unwavering patience) of youth leadership. Have been attending GCC for approx 10 years. A passion for serving others and showing Christ's love that draws people to God. Strong proponent for engaging others in community and church ministry. Certified baseball coach and avid fan. Strong interest in mechanical and renovation projects, along with an obsession with power tools! Serve as community group leader, elder, property management and various volunteer initiatives. Blessed with a gracious Wife and 3 adolescant children; 2 sons and a daughter. Varied occupational experience in the fields of sales, customer service, technical and entrpreneurial.
Nathan Bryant:
Marcio Padovan: was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1975. Has always been involved in Church since he can remember and he has also been involved in many Ministries in Brazil such as Couples Encounter Ministries, Athletes for Christ, Youth for Christ. One of his ministry highlights was to meet all the Christian players from the fourth-time-World Champion Brazilian National soccer team. He could even give some “hints” to Taffarel (the goal keeper) on how to give a quick testimony of his life with Jesus to the press. Marcio took four years of College in Electronics, five years of Electrical Engineering and one year of Networking. He moved to Canada with his wife Karina in January of 2003. He is currently an Entrepreneur, owns a company called DOIT Consultants, where he works as an IT consultant in the whole GTA. Marcio’s roles at Grace Community Church are: Elder, Treasurer, Community Group Leader, Drummer for Grace Worship Band, Viva Brasil Ministries Associate and head of Soccer Ministries.His passions are: his wife Karina and daughters and, best for last…BBQ (Brazilian style off course !!!).
