Children
Grace loves kids! We work hard to provide activities that are engaging and educational for children of all ages. Grace also operates under a thorough Plan-to-Protect policy, so you can rest assured that your children are safe and secure at all times.
Sunday School (9:30 - Toddlers to Grade 5)
Our more traditional Sunday school program happens at 9:30am, where kids learn the great Bible stories and values that will remain with them their entire lives. They also enjoy a weekly puupet show and worship time. All of our teachers receive ongoing training and love what they do.
L'il K (11:00 - Ages 3-5)
If you are familiar with the television show, "Blue's Clues" then you already have an idea about what the 3-5 year old children are participating in each week. The program is very peaceful and positive with lots of positive reinforcement. Our Lil'K leaders sometimes set up a makeshift fort out of blankets for the kids to huddle under as they watch the lesson and figure out the clues. The children take home a paper that gives parents an opportunity to interact with the children about the lesson they learned that week.
Faith Factory (11:00 - Elementary School Ages)
What can your child expect when they attend Faith Factory? First, they will see a fun and engaging entrance that will make them want to check us out! Then we will register your child to ensure their safety. Your child will be personally greeted by an adult and a youth volunteer. What happens next is what really makes this program stand out. As your child enters through the Faith Factory doors they are accompanied by one of our many youth volunteers. The focus of our volunteers is that your child will be known. They will be personally introduced and will have a buddy right away. This gives both the child and their parent(s) comfort knowing they will be cared for. As parents, we always ask our kids "How was the program?... did you make any friends?" Here in Faith Factory, we intentionally plan into our programing that all of the children will be personally greeted and known.
Each month your child will be introduced to a new virtue and verse. We are all about sharing God's truth in fun and creative ways. Your child will get the opportunity to play games, worship God in various fun ways, and be taught by some of our young leaders. We also cook a 3-course meal once a month! We like to use video clips to highlight the Bible story and at least once a month we watch an awesome movie depicting a story from the Bible. We also think movies and popcorn go hand in hand. No microwave popcorn here! We have a real yummy popcorn machine... with the wheels!)
Nursery & Toddlers (9:30 and 11:00)
Grace has a nursery dedicated to infants under two years old where mothers are welcome to come with their babies to feed them, change them or just relax and hang out with other mothers. We also have staff on hand to take care of the babies for those who want to participate in the service or take a class. The nursery is comfortable and well-equipped.
Our toddler room is a child magnet and is full of toys to play with. While toddlers are young, we know their minds are growing quickly – so every weekend during the 11am time slot they are given a basic Bible lesson in addition to plenty of time to play and make friends.
