Our Story

Helping people rediscover God.

In the early 1990's, Bartley Sawatsky and brothers Nathan & Phil Bryant roomed together in Seminary. They dreamed of a church that was free of religious trappings and legalism – one that not only developed strong Christian people, but that helped unchurched people rediscover a God who is loving and gracious.

In 1996, the trio were given the chance to make that dream a reality. And what began with 3 families in 1998 has since grown into a vibrant community of several hundred people. Visitors to Grace quickly recognize that ours is a welcoming community that strives to love, not judge people. Since our inception, we have now helped start 3 other churches with this same passion – in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta.
